The first-ever DRLA Yacht Cup race had everyone learning the ropes during a session of sailing lessons led by professional instructors, who made sure even the most novice of sailors felt confident on the water and even learned the basic tricks of steering. The lessons were followed by a friendly competition as the new sailors showed off what they had learned in a race down the river.
